UC’s Hazelton declares for draft

Wide receiver Vidal Hazelton made official Monday what had been expected for months – that he would not petition the NCAA for a sixth year in which to complete his college eligibility and would instead make himself available for next spring’s NFL draft. Hazelton, a transfer from USC, caught six passes for 63 yards in his first and only game for UC last Sept. 4 at Fresno State before he tore his ACL on a kickoff return, finishing him for the season. He attempted to come back near the end of the season, but did not play again. He will train with Travelle Gaines of Athletes Performing in Los Angeles to prepare himself for the draft.

If he has AMAZING workouts he's a 5th round pick at best in my opinion. Just not enough film of him making plays at the college level. In all liklihood someone will sign him as a college free agent. I wish him the best.

Agreed. Hopefully he runs a blazing 40 time so he is a lock to sign with the Raiders haha.
