well against them in the past, but they're 9-2, have some very good, experienced players, and they get us at home. Do we have any chance of winning? Well one thing. We can't dig ourselves a hole right off the bat. We have to keep the game close for awhile until we get our bearings. Our MO has been falling way behind early, and then not being able to catch up. Let's hope things go our way early because this team is too good to spot 15 or 20 points early and expect to catch up.01-lauramac2

Technically we're 10-2.

I think we're pretty good. But I expect a bare knuckled street fight in our game with yall. We have struggled with UALR our entire time in the SBC, even our wins are ones I feel lucky to escape with. And at the moment, I believe you're the 2nd best school in the West, and a real sleeper to win the league.

Very nervous about the game.

Thank you for your nice comments about us. We've been up and down, beginning the season with seven new players, one of whom has alrady quit the program and gone home, but maybe we've sort of found our combination during the Las Vegas tournament that seemed to work fairly well. You guys have some real talent and until we play I don't really know how well we'll be able to play against you. You and Florida Atlantic seem to be the class of the league so far, but it's a long season, so you never know who'll emerge from the pack. Will you be at the game? We'll get it on our computer stream here, so hopefully I'll be watching. Good luck.04-cheers

Nah, I live in Los Angeles now. I am lucky to be in town for a game a season (did make 2 this year though on my one trip back to DFW). I'll try and find time to get away for Hot Springs, because I am hopeful we'll be cutting down the nets again. But I'll see how work is these next few weeks, and if I can afford to take off a week to go.

It's nice when fans support their team, even from long distance. Hope you get to watch the game somehow. UNT probably has a site where you can watch the game just like we do. Happy New Year.04-cheers

North Texas is 9 points better @ Denton, according to Kenpom.

Should be fairly close to the Vegas line.
