I'll check back with you in about 6 weeks.

Looking at the schedules, I don't think it'll even take 6 weeks. Maybe more like 6 games. I'll be sure and let you know the day it occurs. But I suspect you'll already know.

Not necessarily Scotto. In the next 6 games, the Chickenhawgs take on two strong team in Texas and Tennessee, but four teams with RPIs of over 200. The next 6 for the Chickenhawgs with RPIs:
NC A&T- 200
TX-A - 276
Texas - 25
Tenn - 18
LSU - 204
Ala - 205
The average RPI for those six teams is 154.6. The Chichenhawgs have a current RPI of 149. Therefore, unless they do something pretty stout, like beating Texas in their first road game of the season, I don't see their RPI in improving much, or their strength of schedule. As pointed out before, the SEC West is really weak. Ole Miss has the best current RPI at 56, then its the Chickenhawgs at 149, LSU at 204, Alabama at 205, Mississippi State at 225, and Auburn at 331. Since the Chickenhawgs play all of the west teams twice, they aren't going to get much of an RPI boost there.

I'm not smart enough or have enough time to try to figure it out. I'll just keep an eye on it and let mjs know when it occurs.

Some of the bottom feeders' RPI will improve as conference starts, win or lose. Just playing UK, UF and UT does crazy things to those numbers.

So, here are the Trojan's next 6 games:
087 UNT
302 DU
097 St Bonnie
295 Troy
311 ULM
309 ULL
It'll be interesting to see the SOS's after 6 games.

Glad to see the effort Scotto. See, it doesn't take that much time.

Thanks, but compiling the list is the easy part. It's the calculations past that is beyond my brain power.

Wins over St. Bonnie and UNT would help our RPI with both being in the top 100. Probably even if we win agains the others, our RPI will go down.
