Steve's biggest problem.
He has too many options from which to choose. I said before the season we might have more depth of talent, but the biggest challenge would be the coach figuring out how best to use it. I don't think he's done that yet. He obviously wants to play shut down defense, but when he plays the players who are best at that, they can't shut down the other teams enough to offset their lack of scoring.

It's sort of a Catch 22. Even if you play your best defensive players, they can't hold the other team to fewer points than they can score to win the majority of games. If you play your best offensive players, you might not have enough defense to win games. The secret is figure out a compromise to balance the lineup, which I don't think they've done a very good job of yet, but maybe they'll get it all figured out, and we'll start winning more consistently. However, I'm not sure he's willing to make those compromises. I think he's determined in his mind how the lineup should be, and regardless of results, he just isn't going to change it. I hope he proves me wrong. If he doesn't, it's his job on the line.04-cheers
