The joke is this entire website. A forum to exchange information has turned into a site where people are blasted for honesty, unbiased, realistic information/opinions.

Some will say it's me, but it's not. It's everyone. I get so sick of reading a thread wanting information and having to read a bunch of crap. Tolerating abuse and repeated jokes, things that have absolutely nothing to do with the UM is absolutely painful. People cannot even have a normal conversation discussing points without someone else piping up and turning the whole thing ugly.

In a world where you can get as much information via twitter and reporters blogs, who needs to put up with guys attacking someone's character, and/or the cliques that go on around here? Have fun.

I agree as well. I may not post much at all. But I've been around a long time and read the forum everyday. It's gotten really bad in the last couple months. People no longer tolerate opinions and call out any form of criticism as hatred or lack of knowledge. There's 3 or 4 posters that basically destroy any real conversation on here with their incessant rambling and attack on any idea that wasn't half-cooked in their own heads. It's really too bad that a few people are basically ruining the board for everyone.

Some of them must be on the board payroll because somehow they show up in every single thread-24/7-droning their same insulting comments.

It has become a tabloid site. Take it as such and you'll never be disappointed.

I agree with the OP that reading all of these personal character attacks on our players is fatiguing.

Perhaps that could stop.

Wonder if the players whine as loudly as these posters- especially those who really think construcive criticism is not tolerated.

But yes- when posters go after the character of players- it is amusing to see them later whine about posters going after poster
s personal character.

Maybe they can join in on the bashfest of those who dare root for our university to, you know, win games.
