If our women play like they did yesterday, they'll
be difficult for anyone in the SBC to beat. Rice was determined to stop Chas, but she still had a double double, and made them pay for double and triple teaming her by getting the ball to Asriel and Jeanette, who scorched the nets. Unbelievable. Hannah Fohne is still a work in progress, but she'll do nothing but get better. I feel sorry for Marian Kursch, but they've recruited over her. On the plus side, she's really thinned down since she arrived here and is probably a lot healthier and really looks good. She gives us a few good minutes, but reminds me of some of our men inside players. Somewhat limited in ability to score.
Did you see how many shots were taken by Chas, Asriel and Jeanette. And they still made a lot of passes before shooting. Our men's team could take a lesson from their offense. They move and look to shoot.
I do think, at times they let the clock run down too long before shooting, but yesterday they were making shots right as the time clock ran out. At least one of our teams has an offense.

RE: If our women play like they did yesterday, they'll
You talk about a team moving on offense. Did you notice how Rice moved without the ball yesterday? Everytime they passed the ball, the passer was moving to a new location, setting a screen or a pick, doing what was necessary to get an open shot, or get someone ese open for onel. Now, it didn't pay off all that well, because they weren't hitting shots, but they definetly had some open shots. They actually move better without the ball than the Lady Trojans did. I don't think I've ever seen a women's team have that much motion, and probably very few men's teams.
