my geography professor this semester was from Minn and he seemed to say the same thing for the most part

If Kill was so impressed with Bjorklund why didn't he recruit him at NIU? I do think Minn. has an offer pending with him, but as I told my daughter, go where your wanted when she was recruited. UT offers this guy a chance to play 4 years as a possible starter at a program that has produced NFl lineman, and against a quality schedule. If distance is an issue then North Dakota is where he should go if not Minn.

Minn already has 5 OL commits. If UM offers it will be as a DT.

I believe he wants to play OL as that is a better fit for his body type and his skill set.

I believe he'll stay with UT since we have pursued with vigor and he has a chance to be a 3 year or 4 year starter if he red shirts.

If this guy needs a redshirt year here then he woudn't see the field till maybe his redshirt junior year in the Big ten...even more reason to come here.

Actually Minnesota has 6 OL commits now. Bjorklund looks like a good player though, I know a lot of locals are high on him and are hoping he gets offered. Looks like he can sure move for his size. Congrats on the verbal if it sticks.

I'm starting to wonder a bit about this commitment. Bjorklund seems to be a little confused on what he wants to do......not unusual for a senior in high school. He seems to be saying different things to different people.

UT loses 3 senior starters from the OL after next season (Vandermuelen, Manley, & Marookian) and that really creates a wide open competition arena for players interested in becoming a 3 or 4 year starter.

it's a good opportunity for him at UT that's for sure.

Bjorklund has received a grayshirt offer from Minnesota, meaning they are asking him to sign this February and either pay his own way in the fall or wait until January 2012 to enroll and go on scholarship. No idea at this point if he takes that grayshirt offer or signs with Toledo. Michigan State has also still been recruiting him, but have not offered thus far.
