That is what I expect as well. Many here don't understand how things are done in the SEC.

RE: BE/SEC challenge to go 12 teams starting next year
I wasn't worried about how they do things in the SEC. I've lived in SEC country for about 20 years now. I know how it works down here. But I am concerned that ESPN's bias against all things BEast will eliminate our best teams in order to prop up the SEC, and to make us look worse off than we really are in ESPN's power rankings...

If the BE office allows this to happen, then we will only have them to blame. With that said, I dont expect things to turn out that way. The BE has alot more juice than the Sec regarding bb. Our top teams as a whole get much better ratings than their top teams. ESPN wont be stupid enough to try top prop up Sec bb and damage their cashcow bb league, imo.

Gotta love the SEC conspiracy theories. The Big Ten-ACC challenge always has the top teams in both conferences participating. The Big East-SEC challenge will be no different.

One would hope that this would be the case. This is all driven by television, so I think ESPN is going to lean on getting the best matchups. That's what they've done with the Big Ten/ACC Challenge - the top schools such as Duke, UNC and Michigan State have never rotated out of that series even though the leagues have never had the same number of members. ESPN has always tried to pit the previous conference champs against each other (or rematches of national championship or FInal Four games, if applicable) in the Big Ten/ACC, so I think they'll do the same with the Big East/SEC.
