move to the 2 guard, with D'Andre manning the point. Is Reggie Fondren a point guard? Logan Quinn, a walk on from Arkansas Baptist High School, is redshirting, and he's definitely a point guard. Whether he will be a factor next year will remain to be seen. I'll try and find out how he's progressing. It's possible we'll try and sign a freshman point guard in April, assuming Fondren isn't being counted on for that position.
If he is, then, assuming this new committment from the 6'10" kid is solid,
I would consider another big man, possibly a Juco if he's really good.01-lauramac2

I don't know that that is a given. Chucky is awfully small for a 2, and probably will be the point after Williams leaves. He may play a lot of 2, but I think he is still a point primarily. A point with pop.

I don't see that happening either.

He's not that small. He's probably as tall as Solo, and working on the weights for a couple of years, he'll gain weight. I really see him as a 2 who can play the point, but I'm just happy we signed him. He's a really good young player who will get better. I think he has a chance to make the all freshman team this year if he keeps playing as much as he's playing.04-cheers

I still think we will need him at point. If he is a true point guard, tht is where we want him playing.

If he's the best point guard we have year after next he'll be the man there. But if we have some other kids who are good enough to allow him to play at the two, that's where he might be. Of course we might have someone who's a great two guard, which would then allow Chucky to play the point. It's a good situation to have.04-cheers
