Winning the tournament
Like Pappy, I put more importance on the regular season since I a see the tourney as a complete crap shoot. I am starting to believe we have as good a shot as anyone of winning it- Nobody in the league is better than Tulsa and I'm sure LaTech and Illinois State would be upper echelon Sun Belt teams. However, that still makes our odds of winning it quite long, with 11 other teams and at least 6 of them having a real shot a winning it. The tournament in Las Vegas will be good preparation for playing 3 games in 3 days- Hopefully, we can get a bye and only have to play 3 games to win the thing. I assume the top 2 teams from each division will get a bye but I haven't seen anything official on that.

I just checked the Sun Belt site. East 1 and 2 as well as West 1 and 2 will get byes. The format will be the same as used by the SEC- ex. First round West 6 will play East 3, etc.

I think with the press, anything is possible.

I believe our depth gives us a better chance than we've had for awhile. Especially if we can get past the first game.04-cheers
