If you look even at the teams that have a .500 or better they have not beaten anyone. NT has a win or TT but TT is down this year. NT will still have better bigs than us which is an issue for us but just looking at the league, we have a chance to be in the top 3 teams IMO.
Now that maybe wishful thinking but I did not even having a chance of thinking it.

I think it will be hard to win on the road for us if the foul calls are not going our way but we will be tough at home. I think we can play defense and steal several on the road. We can go to Hot Springs with a bye and get hot with the press.

Seems like we have a rotation and Mouzy and Bails get minutes if they are producing, if not others get the minutes. Steve has shown more willingness to ride the hot hand this year.

Why not? Closest thing to a dominant team in the SBC is NT, and their SOS is terrible (305).

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. This is the same team that got completely embarassed by St. Bonaventure, Missouri State, and ORU. We were annihilated. We need to be FAR more consistent to have any hopes of this being "the year", IMO.

The league is worse this year than last. We will get blown out a few times but stand as good a chance as anyone at this point.

We only have to be hot for three-four games to make the tournament. I see no reason we could not do that this year.

According to realtimerpi our SOS is 204. Still not good though!

I think we're the favorites because we are the defending champs and have 6 seniors. However I currently think three other teams have a good shot to win the conference, and yall are included in that group.

I suppose it depends on the metric you use. Realtimerpi actually has the Belt ranked above last year at this point (19 to 21),
