HE'S YOUR GUY
From the UALR website:
Freshman Chuck Guy matched his season high with 12 points off the bench in Sunday's win over Tulsa ... The Fort Worth, Texas-native went 1-for-2 from three-point range against the Golden Hurricane and currently leads the Sun Belt Conference with a .588 three-point percentage (10-of-17) ... The 5-10 guard is averaging 8.5 points (2nd on the team) and 4.1 rebounds (3rd on the team) over 20.9 minutes, while shooting 47.9 percent from the field ... Over the last three games, Guy is averaging 11.0 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.

It's funny that when we signed Chucky, some were complaining that he was too little and wouldn't be able to get to the basket at the D1 level.
Well he's proved to us all that he's a player. Quickness, skill, and determination will sometimes offset physical limitations. And remember.
Some kids don't stop growing until they're around 21 years old, so he could conceivable grow another inch or two before he's through, and we know he'll get stronger. Let's just hope his attitude matches his talent throughout his career. If that occurs, he'll be one of our best.
