Yes, and it was senior-day to boot. Poor showing by WVU fans.

Well...compared to USF's actual attendance, WVU's 56,000 average and 48,000 plus for their Rutgers game was HUGE compared to any USF Game this year.

From St Pete Times:

In actual attendance, the Bulls averaged 29,955 fans, according to figures given by the Tampa Sports Authority. The biggest crowd of the season was the 32,890 that greeted Holtz for the season opener against I-AA Stony Brook -- Saturday's loss to Connecticut was the third-largest of the season with an actual attendance of 30,815, just under the Pittsburgh game's total of 30,999.

USF 2010 Actual Attendance:
Stony Brook: 32,870
Western Kentucky: 29,939
FAU: 28,946
Syracuse: 30,344 (Homecoming)
Rutgers: 25,755
Pitt: 30,999
UCONN: 30,815

2010 Actual Attendance Average: 29,955
