Greetings fellow beer fans. If you are out and about this evening or Saturday I urge you to check out the Comet, on Hamilton Ave, heading up the hill towards N. College Hill, just above Northside.
For two days, starting at 4:00 each day they will be tapping a new beer every hour. The beer list is phenomenal, with all kinds of seasonals, rare imports and domestics and high gravity beers. Of course, there will be the requisite hop bombs.
Some of the brews will be Ithaca Flower Power, Smuttynose 2007 Saison and 2008 Scotch Ale, Bells 10,000, something rare from Dark Horse and New Holland, Rogue Double Mocha Porter, 21st Amendment Hop Crisis, Sierra Nevada Gran Cru, Victory Fresh Hop Ale....the rest you will have to attend to find out about but if you like beer you can't miss this.
I mention this because I like the Comet and the guy that runs it, and I like the beer scene. C'mon up if you can. Who knows, Lush might be there.

Bells 10,000? Awesome - I hadn't heard that this was out around here yet.

Just bought and drank a 550 ml Sam Smith's winter lager yesterday - pricey but good.

If Lush is there when I am, he gets a free brew from me.

Ithaca Flower Power is a great IPA! What style is the Bell's 10,000? Haven't heard of that one, but I love Bell's.
