I would not make any special deals for Notre Dame. Notre Dame has done absolutely nothing over the past 10 years or more. It's time for their boosters to realize it. They have made a fortune off of their tv deals in which they could probably bail the USA out on the deficits. Time to pay the piper, Notre Dame. Pay up to the Big East to join the league in football. Nuff said.

Very nice read. I agree with Dan about ND. It's also interesting about Lance being in attendance. I guess he doesn't believe the nonsense some of the Mick-haters on here spouted about how he was "thrown under the bus".

I hate this idea "Notre Dame/Big East TV network" I rather them be kicked out in all sports than them be in with football... I hate them, I hate them, I hate them, I hate them.... I think you get the idea

I'd rather see ND maintain its current "half-in" status, and the hybrid BE configuration, then sacrifice our own TV/Bowl shares getting them to join for FB. They're not joining the B-10 in any scenario and are happy to be in the BE in their current capacity.

I'm not a big fan of the hybrid configuration, but it works.

I wouldn't give ND any special deal. In fact, I'd love to boot them out of the conference for all other sports, then we could extend an all sports invitation to another program that actually wants to be apart of the conference.
