Wasn't impressed with Louisiana Tech
We aren't good enough to be down by 14 and come back and beat a good team by nine. Thought they were poorl ycoached, and played out of control. Brown is a good player for them. Our quicker and faster lineup ate their lunch in the second half. We're either better than I thought, or they aren't as good as I was told they were.

Me too but there were 54 fouls called today. The NCAA record is 57 per the tech board.

Not even close-
1-16-10 #12 Kansas State vs Colorado 68 total fouls

but today's game was ridiculous. Game lasted almost 2 and a half hours.

At least, unlike at ORU, while the game was on the line, they were calling them both ways. Just way too many. That's really a bush league way to officiate. Small-time all the way.

If you haven't recognized some of the officials, there is a reason. The Sun Belt has a new coordinator for basketball officials. His name is Mike Woods and he comes from the ACC. Looks like he called 45 games last season and 18 were ACC. He is trying to upgrade our officials with the contacts he has. Lead official last Sunday is from the ACC. Mike Nance was the head official for La Tech. Last year he called 16 SEC games and 13 Atlantic Sun games. We will see what happens when conference season starts when all the good officials are busy calling BCS games.

The guys are oru and tech called way to many fouls. I think that helped us win here and lose on the road.
