I would say it is a F for Tennessee since when you two quarterbacks who cannot get the job done effectively week by week, you really do not have one, and they should be drafting or trading for one in the offseason. Knowing Bud Adams apparent mancrush with VY skills, Sadly that will not happen.

Say what you want and ignore all the facts you want but Vince Young is more important to winning games right now than Jeff Fisher is. There was a running joke around work this week that the Titans wouldn't even win the coin toss without VY.....and so it begins haha.

Vince Young wanted to play so bad that he passed up a chance to rehab his injured ankle to go to Houston and party the off week before the miami game thats who I want as my starting qb. He sounds really committed to winning.

Please. Jeff Fisher is the Tommy West of the NFL. The lovable loser. His time has come and gone. The faster the Titans realize this the better. I hope people realize I'm not defending Vince Young rather than trying to point out how bad Fisher is.

here's the deal

1. Vince Young is the best qb on the titans roster. It's really inarguable at this point

2. Jeff Fisher has had some great teams, some bad teams, and a lot of mediocre team. He has probably underachieved for his level of talent. Making 1 super bowl in 17 years doesn't make him a good coach. 2 teams make the super bowl every year, so by sheer randomness you should make the super bowl every 16 years.

3. Rusty Smith is garbage. By keeping Rusty Smith in the game last week, the titans blew their chance to win the game and hence blew their season

The titans need to blow it all up. Young is a decent NFL QB despite what a lot of people think, but he won't be worth the money that's needed to keep him. Cut or trade Young. Fire jeff Fisher. Try to sign Kevin Kolb. Try to trade CJ for a 1st rounder and sign DeAngelo for much cheaper.

Rusty Smith is a rookie and can't really be blamed for this. Fisher CAN be blamed for the debacle every week with the personal fouls, the cheap shots, and the complete lack of discipline. The Titans have had talent; but they have never had a really good offense in the years Fisher has been the coach.

nobody here is saying that Fisher is doing a phenomenal job. If you had to choose between Fisher and VY, the obvious answer is Fisher.

that's what makes CJ great....short run, short run and boom! imagine if we had a QB that could consistently throw the ball well. look at Rivers...what receiving corp has he had the past few games. Young is not gonna get the Titans anywhere...it's also prolly time for a coaching change. A new coaching philosophy with a new QB is all the Titans need. As for the great VY, all you need to do is look at the Steeler game to see how he does against great defenses. He was putrid....at least if he was average, he would get a pass.

I'll start off by letting you in on a little secret, that is obvious to 99.9% of the population. Most players do NOT perform well against great defenses.

Basing your evaluation of Vince Young on the Steeler game makes you look less than intelligent. First of all, it was only 1 game. Second, even with Young having a terrible game, he has the 5th best passer rating in the entire NFL. All of the success that the Titans have had is when they are throwing the ball effectively.

You look even less intelligent when you base your entire evaluation of Vince Young, on the Steeler game; if you hold Chris Johnson to the same standard in that same Steeler game. I guess by your definition, Chris Johnson is "putrid" when he faces great defenses.

CJ Vs. Steelers
- 16 rushes for 34 yards
- 1 fumble at own 23 yard line
- 11 rushes for 2 yards or less
- 4 rushes of 2-8 yards
- 1 rush for 10+ yards (11 yards)

What I said about Chris Johnson is that he has been piling up the yards on 1 long carry per game, and that he has generally put the Titans in very difficult down and distance situations, because a lot of his runs are for 2 yards or less. That is a fact.

I bow down to you, the Great Intelligent One! I understand you have a lovefest with VY, but if you think, he's the one that'll lead us to the promised land, then you are dumber than I thought. Get rid of Fisher, get rid of the sissy Young and rebuild. The great CJ had a 2000+ rushing season last yr, so it does look stupid when you jump on the one great talent we have. When VY throws for 4000+ yds and doesn't throw a hissy fit when things don't go his way, get back to me. Imagine CJ in a Philip Rivers offense...dude would be unstoppable every game. If VY could throw for $h!t in the Steeler game, then CJ would have had running lanes...is that easy for you to understand. When you throw it an average of less than 20 times a game (19.5 attempts) and most of them are dinks and dunks, then it's not overly difficult to have a good QB rating. Wish there was a way to count his 4 lost fumbles in QB stat...dude is a sissy and a weak arse QB...he needs to go along with Fisher.

Just responding to your idiotic post. You referenced the game as "proof" that Young is a bad quarterback, and CJ had a horrible game the same game. The fact is that most of CJ's runs are for less than 3 yards. If you actually watched the games you wouldn't make statements that are so stupid. The Titans have had a much better offense when they let Young throw the ball. Having 75% of your running plays go for 3 yards or less and then breaking off a 20 yarder might look good in the stat book; but it's a terrible way to run an offense.

Fisher has had multiple games like the Jacksonville game, where the game was decided and he had Johnson in to pad his stats. Johnson's final stats in that game were 26 rushes for 111 yards. Great game right? The reality is that with 5 minutes left in a game that was already decided; Johnson had 22 rushes for 55 yards. He got 66 yards when Fisher should have been resting him at the end of the game.

The Titans should be throwing the ball to set up the run. Again, IF YOU ACTUALLY WATCHED ANY OF THE GAMES, you would know that other teams have been loading the box against the Titans, and Fisher still stubbornly keeps running CJ into a stacked line for almost no yardage.

The only time the Titans win ballgames is when Young is the quarterback. That is a FACT. If Fisher had his way, Young wouldn't see the field. I would much rather have another coach come in and try his luck with Vince Young and better playcalling. If it doesn't work out; get rid of Vince Young when his contract is up at the end of the year.

Since the Super Bowl season the Titans have 2 playoff wins in the last 11 years. This includes a 1st round loss when the Titans had home field for the entire playoffs, and a 1st round loss at home when the Titans had a bye and were the #2 seed in the AFC.

Like I said in my original post. I had never even considered that Fisher should be fired until a couple of weeks ago; but when you break down the facts; he hasn't come close to getting the job done. Why anyone would choose Fisher is beyond me.
