RE: Chattanooga (11/1710) Game Thread
Turnout wasn't "great" -- they had the bleachers blocked off so it looked better. Student turn out was good but certainly not "GA Tech good."

I know it's not practical, but I can't help but think a 6:00 or 7:00 start time would get us more students then a 7:30 start time... but I know with metro being commuter many people can't get from Atlanta to Kennesaw by 6:00 or 7:00.

Just a bad game. I hated the officiating. they called way too many fouls on both teams. Really slowed the game down.

If you go read Ingle's comments on the ksuowls.com story, I feel he really sums it up well. Can't say too much else about this one. Time to move on, allow the team to get some much needed rest, and get ready for Alabama State on Saturday.

RE: Chattanooga (11/1710) Game Thread
I hate that we let this one get away, but I can say that I am not terribly disappointed. We looked like the better team, but we had no energy. Spencer tried his best to get something going but as you have all said it, we looked flat. After all, our boys did just play the game of their life on Monday. They gave everything they had physically and emotionally to beat GT. Hell coach had to call a timeout at the end of the game just to get the trainer to stretch Spencer out.

In tonights game we beat them convincingly for about 12 minutes, then our players stopped moving. Their transitions were slow and their offensive movement non existent. So to me that is a positive and a negative.

From this point on we only have one more big weekend (Lipscomb and Belmont) in which we will not have Matt to add to our post rotation. Once we get him back we should have some more energy for those 2 games in 3 days scenarios.

I know I have been long winded but I will sum it up with lets not get down about tonight's performance because we have a long season ahead of ourselves. This is the best team KSU has seen, one that has great potential, and is relatively young too. So here is to a great season and many more to come. LETS GO OWLS!

I thought Anderson looked really tired out there last night. He played a ton of minutes the past 2 games with Ohsemen in foul trouble both nights and Ladaris in foul trouble last night. We were getting beat in the post because we were tired and thin. Heramb will hopefully make a huge difference. It is just a bit dissapointing to let one slip away that would have moved us to 3-0 on the season with 2 QUALITY program wins.

I am not discouraged at all though. We almost beat a pretty solid Chattanooga team with only about 65% of the cylinders clicking. Rest, refocus, and lets go get this first road game.

I think if we have Matt Heramb for this game we win

He would be in the rotation and would have been a nice player to have when LaDaris got in foul trouble

Still think this is looking like a great team in the ASun

Ingle has this teams attention and I believe he will get them back on track

no doubt. At least he'll be back for most of the conference games.

I agree - I don't see this as a pattern, but just the result of an emotional high, and the subsequent let down game. Just would have been REALLY nice to sneak a win out of the letdown. We had our shot, and we let it slip through our fingers. Games like this come back to haunt you at the end of the year record wise.
