RE: no game thread?
I don't understand why some people to game threads. Why post things on a message board that other readers can either see on TV for themselves or get from a website? Does anyone actually follow a game via a message board?

No offense to anyone, but the geek factor is a little high for game threads.

Last night, all I had was our radio broadcast and a game thread. There's a small semblance of community within a game thread too. Sharing the event with others even though, for whatever reason, you can't be at or watching the game.

first thing... definitely no geek lol... second it's not a thread for people to follow like.... uh guy shoots... guy makes it.. guy just lost ball.. another guy picked it up... obviously people can watch the games with their own eyes.... hmmmmm maybe you need to go to a school with large game threads to see what i mean but i have a feeling you knwo what i mean... hmmmm actually im not too sure.... lol... its for people to watch the game and comment on it in real time with other posters.... i have a feeling there are not enough emu fans on here to make it interesting.... but i absolutely would have liked to come on here today and read you guys personal take on the game while it was happening..... i was hoping to watch the game but i endured a horrible tragedy on thursday when my best friend passed away..... so me and my friends went to a local bar/grill to reminisce and pass the cup around for his mother who lost her only son.... anyway.... i asked the bartender for the big ten network.... they found it but they did not have access to the channel as the owner did not order it.... so i said eh i can go home and check yahoo for the box score and recap but ill go on the emu message board for the game thread.... but nothing..... maybe ill start one up and talk to myself next game!! lol

John,

Any time you want a game thread for an EMU game and don't find one here or wherever else you're looking, head to my blog. There's not usually that much comment activity, partly because it's EMU and partly because it's a newer blog, but I've always got a post to serve as an open thread for each football and men's basketball game.

RE: no game thread?
john,

you can subscribe for 9.95 /month a subscription to watch most all EMU home games in mens and womens hoops, FB, etc.

For 30 bucks (3 months) you might be able to see 10 mens home games.

blogs, in-game threads, etc. are fine but you can watch the game live.
