I've always thought it would be prudent to
play Solo and Matt at the same time. Most teams, if they've scouted usI at all, know that Matt is a deadly shooter, and they can't cover everyone, which is why Solo probably got some open looks. A great shooter does'nt always have to score to be effective. It takes away a defensive man who can't help out on other players. Our problem in the past was that if we played them both, we didn't have the inside players to effectively rebound without a taller 3 position player. If you have two really good rebounders, you can afford to play some shorter guards. I believe we'll see a lot of this lineup throughout the year.If Kibi and Courtney, along with some help from Gus and Montrelle, keep playing the way they did last night, we'll do pretty well.04-cheers
