Has anybody seen anything about parking? Are they just going to open up the commuter lot and not have the parking services guys ticketing people without their permits?

Did not even think of that. The Michael Shwartz lot has spots open normally so they may open that lot up. Perhaps open up the visitor lot using a ticket validation to not have to pay parking fees?

Regardless, if this game gets any sort of crowd at all, there are going to be some ticked off commuters.

According to the KSU Parking Services Facebook page (yes there is a Facebook page for KSU Parking Services):

"Kent State University Individuals attending the KSU Men's basketball game on Tuesday morning, 11/16, will not have to pay when exiting the visitor parking lot in front of the MACC at the end of the game. Please contact parking@kent.edu directly if you have any additional questions."

Well folks, I am off to dinner and then to the Fed Ex Forum to watch the opening game of the 24 hour hoops marathon, Memphis/Miami,FL. - Then home for about 5 hours sleep until time for KSU to tip it off against Robert Morris. Everyone going, have fun and be loud. Holla.

About to head down to the game. Nothing like getting up an hour earlier than usual on a work day to catch some KSU basketball.
