Michael "Juice" Thompson is the senior point guard for Northwestern. He play almost every minute for them and is perhaps the key in their attempt to finally make the NCAA. There has been a lot of concern among fans about his wearing down. Here are some comments by Coach Carmody about that.

"Thompson's playing 38 minutes a game," Carmody said recently. "You can say he plays too much; I don't care. I'm not taking him out. He's a tough kid; he's strong and loves to play. Forty minutes for him is nothing. Don't ask me about that the whole year, OK? He's not coming out."
