Leading 36-24 according to all the scores I can find, just prior to half time.

Sounds like Anderson is a big time athlete. 19 points and 6 rebounds with a few minutes to play. We are going to need that in conference...

RE: Georgia Southwestern (Official Game Thread) - 11/12/10
Hard to speak about this game. You want to say the team looked good, but everything is tempered by a D-II team. Below are a couple quick points/observations I had. One thing I will mention that KB touched on...Anderson looks like a player. He was flying around on both sides of the court more than anyone I saw. I don't know what the numbers were, but as far as impact, he was by far our best rebounder. He also had two really nice ally oop dunks. I honestly didn't know he was flashy like that. Osemhen is a huge body, shoots free throws like shaq (terrible), and seems a little slow. There were a couple times that he got beat on plays that just can't happen against the Lipscombs and ETSUs of the world. One instant was that he allowed a player to get by him on the baseline for an easy layup. But, I want to make sure to say I'm not here to bash, I believe this kid has a huge upside, far more than Jon Alison (whom he was compared to a couple times tonight by a couple people I was around). One last major observation is that Dixon seemed quicker, especially on defense, I think he takes a step forward this season.
***EDIT: The team was actually moving on offense!!! It looked, for the most part, like a true motion offense! Leading the way with movement, and especially back door cuts, was Anderson.

Markeith made a couple nice drives to the left. I agree JJack.
Anderson was impressive. He plays great defense and was a rebounding machine. I am looking forward to seeing him develop as the season goes on. Also, he has a great motor. The second of his two dunks was all motor getting down that court in time for the pass.

I understand this was a d2 team (and a very bad d2 team) but at least we took care of business. Gonna be hard to tell where we are even after the GT game. Our first three games were an exhibition, a weak d2 squad, and a good d1 squad.

Corn, I think we have a shot with GT. They lost a lot of talent and we are catching them at the beginning of a new season.

Do you think he's being redshirted?
No I don't. If he was redshirted he would've been in street clothes sitting behind the bench next to Chase Robinson.

Did anybody other than me notice that STETSON beat Wake Forest convincingly yesterday?
That gives me hope for Monday ....
