Let's Take a Pole...
...and shove it up a BROwNCOw'S @ss.........sorry, I couldn't resist.

What I really want to know is, how many people here, believe that Bill Cubit, would become an immediate success if he were head coach of THE CMU CHIPPEWAS? Could this really be a case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em?" Now, I know Billy has been "handled" by us since his college days at Delaware, where he and his fellow Phfuckhens, er, Bluehens, whatever, were handed their @ss in 1974-Div II National Championship. He has beaten us once (@ Where's Waldo w/Jennings, but never at K/S). Three(?) current Chippewa coaches (including Anus), coached under Billy, at WMU (were they a little excited on the sidelines after that fumble recovery, or what?!), so is it THE CHIPPEWA CURSE, THE K/S CURSE, or what, that prevents him from beating us? I think the guy is a good coach (maybe a little too edgy at times---composure-wise---berates his quarterbacks a lot when they need encouragement---need some balance there, Billy), usually has a good game plan, has good athletes that phfuck up now and then, but, sh!t, who doesn't, and has some hard-core fans. So what the phfuck is the problem? Maybe it's just a case of no reason (too many people believe there is a reason for everything----I think that's bullsh!t, since rationalization is purely subjective). Sometimes it is what it is. Thoughts?

I'd rather have him at Western.

I enjoy us winning every game against WMU... 03-nutkick

Yeah, but just think a little schadenfreude, Hawks...............beating Western with a former Western coach?! Now that would be an ultimate high!!! You could really OD on that, right?!

A few years ago, a certain WMU zealot make some unethical actions toward CMU recruits. In retaliation, new Chippewa AD Dave Heeke bought one of these:

Since then, the Broncos have never been the same!

RE: Let's Take a Pole...
Cubit is way too predictable. I can watch an offensive drive and call a swing pass for every play. he also recruits every thug out there. He fixes those two things and recruits more michigan football players he will be successful. but due to losing to CMU for that past 5 consecutive seasons, even having talented teams in that span, he should be reviewed at the end of the season. not quite ready to throw the towel in on him yet.
