Looking Ahead to the WMU FB Game
I assume tomorrow EMU will release the game notes for the game.

It should be interesting to see the status of the 5 players who were suspended by English.

What is not clear is their injury status.

I'm not sure that L. Thomas is even game healthy.

NOTHINGS CLEAR BECAUSE THERE IS NO COMMUNICATION FROM ENGLISH AND STAFF AND NO MEDIA COVERAGE. MUMS THE WORD

THOMAS - CAME HERE WITH A BIG REPUTATION AND HASEN'T PLAYED SINCE THE 3RD GAME I BELIEVE. NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW THE EXTENT OF HIS INJURY ETC.

I HAVE BEEN TOLD HOWEVER THAT HE HAS USED UP ALL HIS ELIGIBILITY.

THE 5 SUSPENSIONS - WHO KNOWS? SINCE 4 OF THE 5 ARE SENIORS, MY INPUT IS PLAY THE YOUNGER GUYS

Should be a good game. WMU hasn't been consistent. However they do have perhaps the best stable of WRs in the MAC.

None of the suspended players are included in today's 2-deeps released by EMU.

It could change later in the week, but we'll see...

Saturday's team could be pretty young with not too many seniors in key positons.

Lets see if WMU brings their A game or something else. This game and the Buffalo game that follows are excellent opportunities for English and the team to show they are turning it around. Not so upbeat about the NIU game. NIU has it rolling this year.

I'll bet Western brings their 'B' game. They might lay an egg.

RE: Looking Ahead to the WMU FB Game
BTW, we've had discussions about how we, as fans, evaluate new players.

One way, is from spring ball and another is the public scrimmages.

During the public scrimmage this fall I believe a number of posters were very, very concerned about the place kicking. It didn't look good at all. Punting looked a lot better.

They were right!!

Is this game on TV (nationally or locally)?

I believe the only television is the webcast via MAC all-Access which I believe is about 6 bucks.

http://www.mac-sports.com

BTW, I expect to see EVERY EMU FB game this year either in person, on television or webcast (e.g., EMU's, BSUs, and WMU's).
