I was looking at some other forums and one thread was about jerseys and I was recently accepted to ECU so i don't have much background knowledge about the school (i have been a wake forest fan all my life). Any ways they say that the reason we don't where gold is JTs fault so if some one could fill me in that would be great.

Yeh...those things weren't gold....they were highlighter yellow!

Now seriosuly, regarding real gold on the jerseys... I like to think Pirates keep that stuff buried

I do fully support the addition of black into our jerseys... and I give even more support for altering our camera lenses to actually make our Purple uniforms look Purple on TV.

On a similar note: I was surprised that I didn't like the Jolly Roger Helmets - I would like them to revisit the concept as maybe it was just a poorly executed version.

I feel like the Roger helmets would be sick if they did something like the Boise state Pro Combat Helments from the game against VT

by the way chris johnson wore the gold uni's i believe.
a full black uni with either a purple trim or gold with the new skull inside the state logo on the helmet would look sick. anyone agree?

Number one, we would have to do the Gold right. The last incarnation was very far from right.

i love the new logo and it would look sick on a helmet and black with gold trim!

Black Jerseys are something I've wanted to see for years!

If Nike sponsored the ProCombat Black Jerseys - they would see a return on that investment for sure.

HAHA as much as i would love to see ECU PRO COMBATS i don't think that is gona happen. Nike makes them for 10 historic programs every year very limited edition type thing. However that doesn't mean Nike couldn't give us some hot jerseys.
