Lady Trojans vs Texas A&M
Just got thru ordering my tickets for the Lady Trojan’s game at Texas A&M. Gary Blair’s Aggies could be a preseason top 10 team. Good test for the Trojans at College Station.

You'll have to give us an in depth report of the game. Should be a good one.

I'm still anxious to see who starts in Kim's place. Any guesses based on what you've seen? By looking at stats my guess would be Karisma Tyson.

Karl, I just finished listening to Foley media day interview. He indicated Merriex and Tyson would get the minutes. And he was high on Fohne as a post player that could help with depth in the inside. He said Tyson is the best pure shooter he has coach so far. He said Merriex was a good shooter too and had her growing pains last season.
Other tidbits, he indicated that several SEC, Big 12, and ACC teams renege on their verbal agreement to play us this season and because of it we are one game short this season.
He said Butler has been working on her jump shot and Rolfe will be able to do more this season since she is healthy.

That's pathetic that bigger schools are afraid to play us. We're a D1 school. If they lose to us, it's not like losing to a D2 school. What a world!

Hello, Dr J, have you not been paying attention all these years. Just look at how the Chickenhawgs and every other BCS team schedules. They do not want to take any chance on playing any so called Mid-Major team that might beat them. Period. End of story. Now once a team has developed a reputation, the big boys will play them. Check out Gonzaga and Xavier. But until that happens, a good Mid-Major is like poison to the BCS cowards.

I know it's been going on. It's just bush league. Did you read the article in the Demozette this morning about how over half of the teams in D1 football are excluded from the national championship, no matter what they do. Read the article if you haven't. It makes the point that it's like if the American League teams were excluded from the World Series. Other pertinent comments also. Not that many mid majors could compete for the championship, but they should at least have a chance if they are good enough. It's a crazy system. Northwestern and Vanderbilt have a chance to win a national championship, but Boise State and others don't. Well at least they haven't yet. Maybe Boise will be the breakthrough, but I doubt it. They have to go undefeated and every big boy team ahead of them has to lose at least two games.
It's a lawsuit waiting to happen and it will at some point, and they will win. It's a no brainer. I'm no attorney as PTJR and Mr. Mediocrity, but since college football is a business, this would probably fall under restrain of trade. It should, anyway.
