Marathon Day
The Marathon is back in Booneville. It will go right past my driveway. Son-in-law is running in the 10K, so we will be out in force here in a few minutes.

RE: Marathon Day
Well, they have come past. We are going down to watch the finish of the 10K. A fairly small group. The marathon was a BIG deal in Booneville there for a while. They will have to get it built back up.

By the way, this is a Boston qualifying event.

You said it, Pal! I told them that if they had the Half-mile Stagger, I might have tried it, but even that is probably only a dream.

The Booneville Marathon used to be a big deal. They held it in February, so it was one of the last qualifying races before Boston for folks in this region. People came in from all over. I hope they get it built back up. It was a small but significant boost to the local economy.

The fellow in blue who is working on his is my son-in-law. If you were to continue off the left side of the picture of the start about a half-mile as the crow flies, you would be at my house.
