We were there before the Marshall game as well. Of course this is nothing more than a failed attempt at comedy by the ESPNBCS network.

Troy is 9 points from undefeated againt tougher competition than we have had (AZ excepted) and BG played them a fairly competitive game in a dump that could hardly be called a home field advantage. The Tulsa game wasn't a gem but Tulsa's offensive stats are near the top of the FBS.

I'm calling bum rap on this ignominious ranking. I still expect the BG game to be a war.

Well if they're on the doorstep then that means the Bottom 10 wiped their feet on them on the way in.

RE: Bowling Green on doorstep of ESPN bottom 10
Does it bother anyone that there are four MAC Schools on the list with one more almost ready to join them. This is simply embarrasing. If anyone wants to know why I would love to get to a new conference, here it is. I don't blame the officiating. Poor attendance is directly tied to this very issue, and also why the MAC is the at the end of alot of jokes on ESPN. RIGHT HERE!!!!!!! Four flipping MAC teams on the bottom 10. The team records do not lie, we have five teams that are 1-3, maybe more if I check more of the team records. Wyoming maybe 1-3, but atleast they have played two top ten teams and the other loss was to a very competitive team. MAC schools need to step it up!!! Before any BG fan comments against this, please do so after your team finishes a 3 game road trip with three wins!(that will be never at the level they are playing! Yes Toledo beat Michigan at the Big House so please do not play that card either)

busdriver...we'll see where things sit in November. You want to get all fat and happy because you beat three subpar teams on the road in September, go right ahead. You want to embarrass yourself by comparing this year's Michigan team to the team you lucked into beating...go right ahead.

You can criticize us all you want....the fact of the matter is your boys haven't been able to stay within 2 TD's of the Falcons for the past three years. That means so much more to me than our OOC slate...

Not nearly as embarrassing as your spelling.

My response is as a MAC fan and not as a BG fan so I hope that I meet any response criteria not posted above. You want to jump ship from this conference based on the best season start since 2005. That's all well and good, and hats off to your team, but wasn't Toledo IN the bottom 10 after week one? Further, didn't UT also spent a good chunk of 2008 flirting with this ridiculous list?

I know memories are short, but I've never seen a memory as short as three games. Congrats on UT's 3-1 start, but I believe your huffing a road win streak made you either arrogant or myopic.

I must apologize for missing an S and for not hit the space bar two more times in my last post. Yes, I am arrogant! No, Toledo did not get 65 points hung on them from an overrated team in the Big 10. Yes, Toledo lost to a very good PAC 10 team in week 1. Yes, BG Fans are fun to poke at.

This has been going on for a few years now and has nothing to do with the current football season suddenly being a motivating force. If the powers that be keep driving athletic programs and the University forward
at some point we'll be waving buh-bye to our bestest little bird buddies.

And, RUIT, before you jump on Boca, No, he did not misspell University. Yes, he did mean "Univerity", a shorthand for "Universal truth" as in "Its a universal truth that UT will be moving to a better conference". Just as an example. 03-wink

Either as long as there's a partially filled bottle of MD 20/20 stuffed down between the seats. MD 20/20- now THAT'S the truth.
