But as a Cardinal fan (since 1981), I am disappointed.

I am happy about the playoffs though. I've been a Rangers fan (since 1986).

How do you grow up a Reds fan then switch to the Cards - YUCK! I lived in Memphis for many years during good Cards years and horrible Reds years and never made the switcharoo. Memphis is a huge Cards town, in case you did not know. Heck I even stuck with the Bungals through the years. The worst team of the nineties; worse record than the Detroit Lions in the nineties I believe.

I made the switch when the Cards AAA team moved to Louisville in 1982 and I was their batboy the first two seasons they were in Louisville. I got to know lots of good players. It was a kids dream!

I am a Bungles fan as well and have been most of my life. I went to the coldest game in NFL history... you know the AFC Championship between the Bengals and the Chargers, -59 degree wind chill. I spent most the game in the mens room with 1000 other guys trying to stay warm. My best friend's older brother got frost bite at the game. Those were the days!

To a much lesser degree I am a Redskins fan also. Honestly, I'm not much of a pro sports guy. I live for college sports!

I don't how any fan made it through that AFC Championship game. As soon as San Diego took the field it was over.

The thing was, the coldest I remember being was when we walked across the Ohio River on the bridge. We parked in Kentucky. The wind was whipping us and we were totally exposed on the bridge. It was bone chilling frigid.
