Three in a row . . . for Rocket defenders
For the third consecutive week, a UT player was named Mid-American Conference West Division defensive player of the week.

Senior linebacker Archie Donald was honored Monday after posting a game-high 16 tackles and one interception against Purdue.

Congrats to Archie!!!

I watched the game again last night and I still can't figure out why Donald was given a personal foul in the second half. He ran into a pile but the whistle had not blown yet. 01-wingedeagle

Lots of Big Ten referee home cookin' in that game. Like the holding penalty on the quickout. Mark B. even mentioned it in his broadcast.

Watching the game on Saturday I was waiting for the replay that never came. The only thing I could come up with was a helment to helmet hit but he was a part of huge pile of Midnight Blue & Gold.

I agree, and I also wonder - if Donald's was a late hit, why wasn't the Purdue player who went into the pile after Donald did also flagged?
