MAC Upsets
NIU @ Minnesota
Temple @ Penn State
Central Michigan @ Northwestern

3 games that I think the MAC could win today. Temple may not win but I think that game will come down to the wire.

Of course the only outcome I REALLY care about is the 1st one, but it would be nice to see the MAC win 2 out of these 3 games today. Our non-conference record is atrocious right now.

the better the MAC does the better Northern looks so I hope all MAC teams can win today especially that Bowling Green-Michigan one starting an hour from now. I think that BG might pull of an upset.

Hope I'm wrong, but Big Ten sweep is still the most likely outcome today. Will the MAC ever get out of the hole???

Michigan is 35 and 1 against the Mac. The only loss was against Toledo and that is the only time they ever played

No MAC team is fast enough to stop Denard Robinson. It's 14-0 5 min into the game and Robinson almost has 100 yards rushing.

Wow if this is the Toledo team we are going to be up against, maybe Toledo does have a chance. Toledo outclassing the Boilers so far.

Northwestern has a young team but they are just so disciplined and they run their system to perfection. I think CMU can keep it close though.

If Temple is overrated, then the MAC truly is awful. I think they are a program on the rise and have a good shot at something like 10-2 this season.

Dont get ahead of yourself MD. Purdue beat Western Illinois (a BAD FCS team) by 10 and even Ball State gave them a game last week.

RE: MAC Upsets
If Temple plays anything like they did in the CMU game they will get destroyed

Also, Toledo is still better than people on here have given them credit. But Purdue is really bad.

Yeah Purdue does look awful, I think this game is the beginning of the end of the danny hope era at Purdue.

RE: MAC Upsets
Anybody else liking that we have Toledo and CMU at home this year? Based on today's performances both of those teams are improving and those should be knock 'em out dog fights. Buffalo also hanging tough with UCONN. It could be possible that our toughest conf. games are all at home...maybe a huge break in the schedule for the Huskies when it's all said and done.

Toledo is the team to beat in mac west. Toledo already 2-0 in conference. Toledo has already won 2 conference road games.

RE: MAC Upsets
Wow is Toledo really gonna chock this one away?

24-3 lead trimmed to 24-20 with under 9 to play.

Purdue has been playing with their backup QB since early in the 1st quarter

Looks like Toledo will hang on. Good win for them. Purdue is possibly the worst team in the Big Ten but I must admit Toledo is looking better than I initially thought. They've rebounded nicely from the Arizona massacre.

Looks like Central Michigan almost pulled out the upset against NW. Down by 5 going for the onside.

OK Huskies. We're counting on you to put one on Minny tonight. Keep a good day going for the MAC.

Toledo is looking much better than most expected. They found their offense today to go with a good D. To me, they look like the favorite in the west.

Good luck tonight.

Wow I stopped following this game. NW was up 30-13 in the 2nd half!

I can't wait until people on this board try to discredit the Toledo win vs Purdue. Purdue sucks but they aren't much worse than they were last year. Fact is, if we lose today we are 1-3 and Toledo is 3-1.
