RE: BCS tax trouble?
There's a couple of lawsuits moving through the courts, that have gotten farther than any lawsuits previously, seeking compensation from the NCAA for the players. I saw a link about these suits a week or two ago. One suit seeks direct compensation based on the billions generated by the athletes performances on the field for their various universities. The other lawsuit seeks compensation from gaming companies for using former player images from NCAA games in their gaming software...

Coupled with this information, it looks like the bowl system, the BCS, and the NCAA is under fire from several sources...

Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely. Or something like that.

I'm not sure if a Political Action Committee has the legal standing to sue them. This might get dismissed for lack of standing.

RE: BCS tax trouble?
The PACs don't. But former players are, for themselves, and the current college players. Billions of dollars are being generated for the schools, and the NCAA, and not one dime for the players. Everybody wants their piece of the action. There are 2 suits being pursued right now. I mentioned them earlier. I still haven't found the link for the story I saw, but as soon as I do I'll post it here...
