More importantly is winning the West then the MAC, which would assure a bowl bid.

Would that be nutz to be matched up in Detroit vs Illini. I dont think the league or bowl would like such a rematch.

Teams finishing the regular season with losing records should NOT be extended a bowl bid including Navy.

Would Poinsettia ever offer NIU an invite after the poached egg layed by Huskies vs TCU?

Yea the article merely explores a quagmire for NCAA.

Adding more bowls then faced with a dilemma is shortsighted of NCAA unless the mentality is same as Wall Street's unbridled GREED really is GOOD for all.

BTW: Anyone watching the pbs series "Accent of Money? It''s a very, very informative, comprehensive, balanced and unbiased as can be documentary & study of markets, finance, bond markets, and the ChinAmerica economy.

I do not think the Huskies performance in their last trip to San Diego has doomed their chances of ever going back for another bowl game. You show me a team that has never been dominated on national TV, and I will show you a team that rarely, if ever, appears on a national TV.

Basically China has now become America's investment bank. What must olde chairman Mao and the communist hardliners now be wondering????

It's mid boggling to learn who controls and manages the bond market and how one man among a small handful got to that place including starting in Vegas gambling as a 24yr old risk taker.

I think the bowl would like a NIU - Illinois rematch actually. The last game was close and pretty exciting. Nothing like a likely blowout to turn fans away. And although they're not actually rivals, they're sort of in-state competitors so you could talk that up a little.
