Yes - so was the come from behind win by WVU. I haven't been that happy since 2003 when we beat Marshall on their field. I was giddy when WVU came back to tie it in regulation - then win it in OT. Holliday looks like another crybaby coach on the sidelines who thinks he is always getting hosed by the refs.

If Marshall never won another game it would be too soon.

we went 10-1 in 2000 and beat them like 41-0 and didnt get a bowl bid and they did, becuase we lost to the west champion WMU.

We beat Penn State at Penn 24-6 and we didnt get a bowl, and them a## holes from Marshall did....

one of the many reasons we dislike Marshall.

Actually 42-0------21 points by the O and 21 by the D.

Not only did Marshall get the bowl, the MAC (as I recall) made the member institutions, including Toledo, chip in funds to help defray their bowl expenses.

The fact that Toledo was not playing during the bowl season that year also cost UT votes in the polls and caused them to drop out of the final top 25 poll for that year.

The failure of the MAC to secure UT a bowl that year coupled with giving Marshall 4 years of homefield advantage hosting the MAC Championship (which may have cost UT a MAC championship) really turned me against the MAC. And after all of MAC's preferential treatment for Marshall for all those years, the Herd dumped them
for CUSA at the first opportunity----so I don't figure that UT owes the MAC anything.

This, and also moving the MAC headquarters and the basketball tourney out of Toledo eliminates any loyalty Toledo ever owed the MAC.
