Freshman center Juvonte Reddic may still be unpacking his bags in Richmond, but it hasn’t take long for Winston-Salem native to get his first taste of the national spotlight. ESPN named Reddic one of it’s “10 freshmen we can’t wait to see” in it’s latest Summer Shootaround: non-BCS edition, praising the new Ram’s size, length, defense, and ability to run the floor “like a deer”.

Reddic was the only freshmen representative from the CAA.

ESPN and VCU fans alike may get plenty of opportunities to see Reddic after losing returning center, Larry Sanders, to the 1st round of the NBA Draft.
