The truth is rather flexible around here at times - you've bent the sh!t out of it on more than one occasion...

I don't lump ALL Pitt fans together whenever I disagree with ONE of them.
He is just one of those guys who can't handle someone telling him the truth. That's all.
You fail to objectively review Edsall's body of work over the past several years. He is every bit as conservative as Wanny, believes in the same philosophy on offense and defense and has made his fair share of questionable calls playing not to lose. How many leads did UCONN blow last year, SFH? I know of at least 3 last year - UNC, Pitt and Rutgers. Each were games UCONN should have won, but Edsall played not to lose at the end during each of these games. Like Wanny, Edsall has the same MO. The only difference between the 2 is that Wanny is better known than Edsall because of his stints as head coach of the Bears and Dolphins. As more people get to know Edsall, they'll see his coaching philosophy. Care to comment on Edsall's body of work in 2009? Was I wrong in stating that he squandered plenty of opportunities to win games last year?

Brutal loss to Michigan in the Big House. I had no idea they have a Pat White clone on the other side. UCONN always had issues with this kind of QB and it showed. Had UCONN scored before that fumble, who knows what would have happened. Our 5 star USC transfer choked and fumbled at the worst time possible. Michigan OL was brutal against UCONN's DL. UCONN OL did a good job as well but it was not enough.
UCONN lost a great opportunity to put a stamp on the program. I was hoping Cincy would win late but it was not meant to be. Brutal week for the BE. you guys had a much better recruiting class and are expected to beat the utah's who get mostly ** players the diff is coaching. let's see how michigan does against nd, i'll bet they win, they struggledw/ perdue.
Sorry SF Husky, but you were also picked to win the BE (Herbstreit and Mandel ring a bell?). Since when did anyone put much faith into preseason predictions anyways. You UCONN fans never put one iota of belief into any preseason polls or predictions - until you thought it would be neat-o to beat Pitt over the head with them. You're edsalling yourself a deeper hole just be responding with anything but "gee, I'll let the rest of season play out before I criticize other BE teams for OOC play".
If you keep trying to justify your belief that Pitt embarrassed the BE and give UCONN a free pass, then you are pretty edsalled up, and I will have to tell you to get edsalled you twit.
pitt has a history of choking and wanabe is not ure man putz..........utah is 3rd best in the mwc and pitt is 1st in beast, utah has mostly ** players pitt ***, **** coaching lost the game for pitts...............this shows the mwc is better than ours......sadly at the top at least.....
Utah is 3rd best in the MWC? Are you clairvoyant? You know how all of the games will play out this year? You better get to Vegas ASAP!
Fact is you don't know which team will be the best in the MWC until all of the games are played.

Hey up yours too buddy.
Let's compare the game shall we?
UTAH handed Pitt 4 turnovers and you still lost? While you can claim UTAH is better team than Michigan right now, and we really don't know that, but you guys could have won that game. I can tell you Michigan did not have 1 turnover yesterday. I am not making any excuses for UCONN's loss, but really not that many people picked us to win anything this year. We are not ranked, you are ranked #15. That's the big issue. On top of that, what I mentioned about Pitt has nothing to do with UCONN.
Esdall, at end of the day, is still way better coach than Wanny. Rich Rod simply owns him.
Edsall you, SF.
Let's compare games indeed. Every turnover in the Utah game were gift wrapped? Pitt had nothing to do with making plays to get those turnovers, is that what you're saying? Fact is, Pitt did not play a pretty game - especially in light of the first time starter at QB - but they made plays throughout the game. Pitt actually made plays in their game. UCONN, on the other hand, was able to make plays only when the outcome of the game was no longer in doubt that UM was winning that game. UCONN was nowhere close to being prepared for their game, and that my friend is an obvious sign of pi$$ poor preparation courtesy of your coaches.
