Good question, Kentville. If you don't know, I doubt anyone else does.

Steve Hare reported that Pinckney will play for Davis & Elkins, a DII school in West Virginia.

Thanks for the info. Pinckney was listed in Sporting News College Basketball as a "JUCO transfer to watch", and he winds up his career at a weak Division II program. Recruiting is so hit-and-miss.

Try Try Again Dept: According to the box score, Ian Pinckney was 2 for 20 (!) in Davis and Elkins' lopsided loss to Mountain State last night.

Incredible.

Wonder if Avila has surfaced anywhere yet?

Avila is at the University of the District of Columbia (NCAA Division II). He's listed on the roster as a freshman, but their season preview shows him as a Kent transfer. I would think he'll get some playing time on a team that finished 1-20 last year. They're coached by Jeff Ruland, if anyone remembers him.

Well he did not play in their 95-58 loss to Villanova. This does not bode well for playing time

RE: Does anyone know....
The box score for the Villanova-UDC game shows the name ERIK JOHNSON twice for UDC, as #5 and #33. Seems unlikely they have two Erik Johnsons. Maybe Avila was the REAL #33.

Avila is averaging 11.6 ppg for winless UDC. Pinckney is starting for Davis & Elkins.
