oouch! I know he had a bad game but damn! I don't he goes anywhere now. THey didn't have to cut him yet so they must be 100% positive they don't want him. If he was going to make the practice squad they would have kept him on until they absolutely had to get rid of him. Hope he does something else in football. He will exceed in life no doubt but i'd love to see him play some more football.

Hiller will get picked up by another team. Painter, the Colts back-up is a home grown kid-Purdue and Indiana H.S.. I found out the hard way (attended a Colts scrimmage in Anderson a few weeks ago) this has gained him a huge following amongst the corn growers!! Looking around the NFL only a couple of QB's really stand out. Very few starters look irreplaceable. Then you have a 40-41 year old in with the Vikings, I am thinking he is on his last leg--no pun intended

Good for Hiller for taking a shot at it, knowing he was a long shot at best on that roster, just so he could learn from the QB he looked up to the most. I wish him well where ever he ends up this season (and I do hope he at least makes a practice squad spot somewhere).

I was never all that impressed with Painter when he was with the Boilermakers. I'd be surprised if he'd be able to excel in the NFL. No...........make that "shocked".
