UC practice field/ lacrosse stadium update
The 100 yard field has been installed. The walls for the water tank under the 50 yard practice field are just about done.

I'd love to see UofL sponsor men's LAX but I think it is unlikely for two reasons:

1) Title IX. Right now, the Cards are in good standing with title IX. Unfortunately, an additional men's sports would require additional women's sports to be added as well. With all the other money being spent (PJCS expansion, Yum Center, etc) and the projects that are coming down the tube, I don't think we'll be expanding our sports offerings anytime soon.

2) LAX is starting to gain popularity in this part of the country but fielding a competitive team with local/regional talent would be quite hard.

Yea the Big East lax league could use another team or two. How about getting Johns Hopkins to join up? That'd be a pretty big coup.
