Is this how we are now recruiting? Find an athlete who has made a name as a pro and recruit his family.

First, London Fyrer
and now Juwan Howard
and John Rice.

I don't mean to take away from the abilities of Howard, or Rice, they have accomplishments that suggest they can succeed at WMU. I wish them well. And athletes can run in familes, as the Boykos showed us in 1988. But I don't think that we will find another future Hall of Famer by trolling families of successful athletes.

Biggers and Delmas lived in the same house for 10 years or so. That worked out okay. Dan O'neill wouldn't be here without his brother. I don't think we're shopping the market for bloodlines and relatives as much we try and use that to our advantage in some cases.

We have a very legit shot at one of the top linebackers in Florida (North Miami Beach kid)....................his brother is Anthony Parker.

Our recruiting targets in March and April are the same recruiting targets of most BCS programs come June. By July they have a half dozen BCS offers, and we're off the chart. Then we move on to the next and more realistic tier of recruits.
