Nice job, JU
You guys beat us, 61-51, in our own holiday tournament. Your team is certainly one of the A-Sun's best, if not THE best. Congratulations.

JU's 2 losses in ASUN play were by 16 and 23 points. Unless this is a totally different JU team than a week ago, they are not the ASUN's best.

Well, they had me fooled then, because they looked pretty good. Our radio guy, Marc Daniels, gave them a lot of compliments the night before, after their win over Buffalo. Against us, they didn't shoot the ball well in the second half (both teams shot somewhere around 25%), but they hit the big shots when they needed them most. I think experience played a factor in this game; UCF has only one senior (who hasn't played very much in his career) and two juniors. But give JU credit; they played with a lot of focus against both us and Buffalo the night before. Maybe this tournament marks the point at which they turn things around and put together a nice run.

I would be surprised if this doesn't turn them around.
