FWIW, Tebow took a hit from former Hawkeye Abdul Hodge in last Sunday's game, and has injured ribs. He was able to practice Thurs wearing a flak jacket. Don't know what that means as far as tonight's game.

RE: Lions at Broncos
Tebow was held out.

The LIONS are getting better..... Expecting them to be playoff ready next year and surprise people this year. I know this sounds crazy, but they have a developed a core for a Super Bowl run in the next few years. YES the LIONS....

I don't think Ford is willing to financially or emotionally invest to win a super bowl. He will be in the grave before it happens.

Ford is becoming a little more irrelevant now that they have a capable GM and coaching staff. Mayhew has been MONEY at decision-making pretty much since day 1. He had a front-row seat at the Millen disaster, so he knows exactly what NOT to do. I am definitely loving the direction of this team, and I believe they are on the right trajectory as well. A win AT Chicago in week 1 would do a lot for this young team.

Get healthy LOU!!!

Overheard a conversation including John Fetzer about the 1968 World Series. He spoke about what it took to win, $$$$$$. He said he would never do it again. He might improve, but I don't think Ford has ever, and never will invest what it takes to win it all.
