Only TWO WEEKS until the season of 2010 becomes a reality! Where's your Bronco spirit?? I swear, this is the quietest our message boards have been in the ten years I've been online. Where's your sense of excitement? Where's your school spirit? Why aren't you tuned in, turned on, and engaged? Why am I not hearing "GO BRONCOS!" echoing around Kalamazoo County?

C'mon, kids!! This is like two weeks before Christmas. We know something good is coming to us, but don't know yet just how HUGE it will be! Let's get stoked. Enthusiasm is infectious, even on message boards.

It's long past time to get this party started.

Well, I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night but I did get me some new Broncos duds last week as I passed through Kalamazoo. Had to stop at the Spirit Shop.

Got a sweet new hat that marries the old and new. Black with the brown W overlaid by a smaller Bronco head logo. Also picked up some other Bronco clothing.

I'm ready for the show to get going. Just not shouting it this year - let's say I'm cautiously optimistic that the season won't turn out to be a train wreck. Given BC's history at WMU, this should be a better year than last, IF WE HAVE ANYBODY LEFT that's ready to play and not in the M.A.S.H. unit.

Its because this site is all about political banter and ChipDip's feelings now-a-days.

Was informed that the MSU tickets just arrived...I am now fully engaged :)

Love the attitude & excitement, Whinny! I have to admit that it's been hard for me to shake the disappointment of last season given the expectations we had going into the campaign, it being Hiller's & West's senior season and all. However, I'm actually starting to get a pretty good feeling about this season. I think the defensive coaching change was a MUST, and I think the crew that BC brought in are going to have a big impact on the unit's performance. I'm also excited about Carder ... I think this kid is a gamer and a winner, and seems like he has that personality that can will a team to victory. Have nothing to base that on but intuition, but he just strikes me as that kind of individual by the way he speaks and carries himself. I'd like to see a little swagger under center, as it's been lacking for the Broncos for quite some time.

So I guess I'm ready to shake off the disappointment of last season .... LET'S GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

Every year is a new year. 2010 is an open book with unwritten upon pages. What's the use in living if you can't get stoked about things? I'll be damned if I'll let yesterday's disappointments determine my mood today. I expect lots of excitement from our team. And we'd better damn well see that they start getting some support from the Bronco fans!

I don't need my monocle to find your big butts with my knitting needles.

I tend to lean toward dolt, but on the really important issues will sometimes sway toward laggard.

Ready for the season to begin.....just taking a calm, realistic approach. It's a psychological thing.

Cant afford the heartache and keeping my expectations in check helps.

I actually may have brain disorder from the trauma of last season.

But that is in the review mirror.....nothing but blue skies.

On the inside I am JoJo the Circus Clown.....on the outside I am the cucumber that is cool.

I would really LIKE to be excited about the season.

Right now I'm just not able to put my finger on the reasons to be excited.

We'll be there, of course, and maybe the excitement will come then. I sure hope so.

This is not going to be a year I'm all hyped up and primed for a letdown.

Gonna start slow and let it build, I guess.

I want us to get hyped and translate that into the noise level of Waldo Stadium (and Spartan Stadium, and ND and of course Perry-Shorts... you get the idea)

I'm gonna warm up with some football this weekend - and by "football" I mean "futbol!" WMU men's soccer is having an exhibition against next-door neighbor K-College Saturday (8/28) at 4pm - Go Broncos!

The lack of buzz here on the board is very similar to the lack of buzz here in Kazoo.

There really is no talk whatsoever about the WMU football season, that is only a few weeks away.

I think maybe the marketing dept. is lost without Hiller to hang all of their hopes for this season on. But seriously, you dont hear squat about the team, season or anything these days. And we are basically 10 days away.

Their scrimmage on Tuesday had a good turnout and it wasn't advertised. But I don't hear a lot of buzz about UM for that matter. There's a lot going on this week for people. School clothes, off to college, school supplies, last minute vacations, it's really only diehard dorks like us who are wondering how a team looks in practice.

Truth be told, does not seem to be much buzz at MSU about football so far either. Maybe folks have more important things on their minds, eh?
