Nothing gets done in NY quickly, just take a look at the WTC rebuild, going on 10 years. There are zoning restrictions, unions, red tape, and city politics. Bloomberg's not a dictator, he's part of a governmental body that in the end have to answer to the people..................the 67% who oppose it. Do you honestly think an unpopular president with 40% approval rating is going to sway them by citing their right to ask to build there?

Honestly, I'm torn between hoping the mosque is rejected, and letting these idiots push through another far left idea that the majority hates.
