WVU has Stewart coaching... no chance for a national title appearance. They'll at least choke away 1 game.

Wow, how'd I do that. O course Pitt is bowling. I'll slide them into the Meineke Bowl and bump everyone else down. UConn will get an invite to a bowl another conference can't cover.

Meineke won't take USF after their poor fan showing in their previous visit.

I could see the Meineke trying to match UConn and Boston College for very obvious reasons. I personally find that must see TV. Same goes for Rutgers if we're available. Pinstripe however is gonna end up taking us if we're not in a BCS bowl I'm sure of it, since they're going to want to make sure they sell out in the first year. Although their configuration is AWFUL and could learn from Chase Field in Phoenix how to do a bowl game in baseball stadium properly.

I wonder if the Meineke noticed the 17K USF took to FSU, or the 6K they took to the Sun Bowl (far more than Oregon), to the worst bowl destination, as far as getting there, in the country.

RE: Pre Season Bowl Predictions
Obviously, I want to get back to another BCS bowl, but if it's not to be, I'll be pulling for WVU. They are by far the most likely school to trump us when the runner-up bowls make their selections. If WVU wins the league, I like our chances at getting a Champs invite.

True, but in fairness to USF fans, if you're going to leave Tampa for up north, July's the time to do it, not January.

UCONN finishing 6th in Big East board preseason prediction again?

Meanwhile, 3 of the biggest UCONN haters Mark May, Herby and Robert Smith are picking UCONN to win the BE.

Something is not right. 6th again? Time to lay off the crack Mike. Remember drug kills and it is not good for the brain.

That is 6th in order of bowl selection, not where they finish in the conference standings. If those were the bowl eligible teams, I do think that UConn would be headed to the Meineke, not USF.

FSU ain't Charlotte. Until Bulls fans show they can travel, and they haven't so far, they will not be prized by many bowls...

RE: Pre Season Bowl Predictions
Time will tell but I think USF would travel to Charlotte a lot better than it did last time when we had a smaller fan base and many that had no clue we were going bowling.
But we shall see. I hope we do good enough to have better choices than Meineke- BCS and Citrus would be well attended by Bulls fans.
