RE: Men's Schedule
Since the men are not having a home game on Nov 16th when the Ladies are playing at Texas A&M it looks like I will be able to make that road trip.

RE: Men's Schedule
Pappy will have to give us a break down of the other teams but this is a good schedule that we should have a chance win all the games. Yes, even Ole Miss, it is at our house.

Thanks to Steve and the whole UALR staff for anothe solid schedule.

Really great schedule. Illinois State is a great addition to the home schedule. If we're going to play an NAIA team, we might as well play Philander. Keep the money in the city. I bet they bring quite a few folks. I guess we made sure we won't lose to a DII school this year. Other than the nonDI schools, not a bad team on the OOC schedule. Seems like they are all from conferences ranked higher than the Belt. That's some aggressive scheduling (except Stetson in Las Vegas and ORU which is the class of their league year in and year out).

And BOTH games against Arkansas State are on Saturdays! And the second one is the last game of the regular season. Could it be that the SBC schedule makers have had an epiphany of some sort? Imagine, scheduling natural rivals against each other on a Saturday the last game of the season. What a novel concept!

Overall a really good quality schedule. Glad to see the new home and homes with SMU and Illinois State, in addition to the in season home and home with St. Bonaventure.

I wouldn't count on them bringing many fans. DollarBill and I went over to Philander two years when Newell(UAM)played them, and they didn't draw flies. There were more UALR fans there, than Philander Smith fans. I'd guess that there were maybe 50 people in the stands at the most, both years. I don't have any problem with playing Philander(as mjs said, "keep the money in the city") if you're going to play an NAIA team, but I have a problem with us playing any NAIA or D-2 team period. The rest of the home schedule is great.

RE: Men's Schedule
For the mens schedule I am looking for road trips to SMU, ORU, Rice, NT, FIU, FAU, ULL, ULM, USA, ASU. Also looking for women Texas A&M, and OKLA ST and the same conference games that I am going for the men. Hey, I'm retired, this is what I do.

I agree. I don't like it, but if you are going to do it, give the local kids a chance to play in the limelight.

RE: Men's Schedule
Observations:

Three of the first four road games are close enough to attend by driving without too much trouble. Home/Home with an A-10 school in the same season. That's a little creative and away from our past norm, but I really like it. A-10 is a good conference. Interesting that we have four straight home games to start the year, and a stretch where we have 8 of 10 and 10 of 13 at home. Can you believe that?!

RE: Men's Schedule
It looks like Pappy's Army will have to visit in the new year, though.

I'll try to do that after the preseason magazines come out.

I agree, good job by Steve and staff.
