Victor E. Getting an Overhaul?
http://www.niuhuskies.com/sports/m-footb...10aaa.html

Just saw this while at niuhuskies.com. It sounds like ol' Victor E. is getting redone. Make sure to watch the video too. The pun from Compher and how Victor E. reacts is pretty funny.

I loved his reaction to "husky". I also like when dogs wear ties.

RE: Victor E. Getting an Overhaul?
I heard from very reliable sources that the new mascot will be none other than RobertN. Athletics big shots heard that Robert will work for a few coins (literally). Unfortunately, he won't be at the opener on 9/11 because that is a very important day for him, as he will be in the mosque all day in observance of the 9/11 attack and collecting contributions for the NYC Ground Zero mosque. However, he will be back bouncing around at the very next home game in October. Unfortunately, he will only be working the left side of the stadium, although he will be cheering liberally.

The present costume is looking a little worn, but I hope any new costume does not change the look too much. I would not want to see something like the previous toothless Victor E.

RE: Victor E. Getting an Overhaul?
I'm gonna take partial credit for getting the momentum makeover underway.

Shortly after International Bowl I posted how Rocky the USF Bull was active and buffed long before kickoff while Victor was slow in arriving and lumberiring by comparison.

For the AD to become involved in any makeover & partake in a video spoof speaks volumes regarding the need for Victor to morph from a cute and cuddly costumed huskie geared to befriend small kids into an actual game mascot who revs up fans rather than causing some to simply smile and wanna hug Victor.

There is no truth to the rumor that this will be our next mascot:

At least I don't think it's true.

RE: Victor E. Getting an Overhaul?
the "acting" in videos is lame , the story line cheesy but I find the makeover weirdly amusing....and something I can relate to....having lost 30 pounds in past six months of the 80 lbs I need to drop.

the foto is post 14 above should be motivation enuff to keep me going....
