USF's first scrimmage report
Defense dominated allowing only one TD out of 150 plays.
Gunsby the freshmen QB looked good completing 12 out of 17 for 169 yds with no interceptions.
Daniels struggled going 1out of 13 to start but settled down and completed 6 out of last 9 for 70 yds. No interceptions.
Defense allowed only 1 play over 26 yds.

That's not surprising. The offense never showed up much in any of our scrimmages and you will hear a lot of work in progress statements. Not where we need to be yet.

But in reality, Skip's offense is very vanilla/conservative and if you have the lead he will milk the clock with 3 yards and a cloud of dust. That will be your worst problem with his offense. Lots of short passes.

Hey, Cuban. Are you totally oblivious to the fact that we're creating one thread for everybody to post their school's daily info? Or do you just have to have a USF thread, because you think you guys are better than everybody else? 03-banghead
