I don't understand why it would be "painful". I watched Joe for 4 years on the hardcourt, and knew that he couldn't dunk then. Why would that change now that he is 30 % heavier. It appeared to me that he was having a wonderful time with his teammates, and knowing Joe, will kibitz with them about the "failed dunk" for a long time.

I think if he started back about 18 inches farther back, he could have at least faked it.

Here's proof that Joe Reitz did dunk in a college basketball game. I was there. I took the picture. It was the highlight of the "Hawkless" game.
